Markets

Every market.
Its rules built in.

Each market the platform serves is a signed rule pack: who may play, at what age, for what money and under which rules — from Great Britain and Malta to seven US states, Ontario, Curaçao and Africa. Real money where an operator holds the licence; play money everywhere else.

Every market

One rule pack per market.
Each written for its regulator.

Every card is a pack the platform carries: the regulator it is written for, whether it plays for real money, play money or not at all, the minimum age, the currencies and a few of the rules it enforces.

The rest of the EU

A pack per state, with that state's licence

The Malta pack serves Malta; each other EU state gets its own pack when an operator holds that state's licence, and the platform already checks the Swedish, Danish, German, Spanish and Dutch self-exclusion registers — over the mutual TLS that Spelpaus, ROFUS and OASIS require — and the EU's high-risk countries in every EU market.

Real money and play money

Both, side by side.
Never mixed.

Real money and play money run on the same platform, the same tables and the same back office. The rule pack decides which a market gets; the ledger keeps them apart.

Real money

Played in each market's own currency, wherever an operator holds that market's licence and has assigned its pack.

Who may play
Real moneyA player located in the market, of its minimum age, with identity verified to the level the market requires.
Play moneyAnyone of the market's minimum age, wherever the pack allows play money.
The money
Real moneyGBP, EUR, DKK, SEK, USD, CAD, NGN, KES and GHS. Cards, e-wallets, prepaid and pay-by-bank through hosted pages: card data never touches the platform.
Play moneyFree play chips and purchased play chips. A play chip can never become cash.
At the table
Real moneyNo bots and no spectators. Every hand deals from the committed cryptographic shuffle, and an interrupted hand is voided and refunded.
Play moneyBots can fill empty seats, and each room decides whether spectators may watch.
Around the game
Real moneyDeposit, loss and session limits, reality checks and self-exclusion — as each market's pack sets them.
Play moneyA chip store, a seven-day daily-chip ladder, daily missions, a bankrupt top-up and rewarded ads with a daily cap — each switched on or off per market.
When a check is down
Real moneyReal money stops. A geolocation outage, a failed screening or a self-exclusion register that cannot answer refuses the seat.

One ledger

Kept apart by the books themselves.

Real money, free play chips and purchased play chips live on one ledger as different currencies, so a play chip can never become a real one.

How a market is decided

Locate. Find the pack.
Enforce.

Every connection goes through the same three steps before a seat, an entry or a deposit — and again while real money is in play.
  1. 01

    Locate

Every connection is placed by its IP address — or by a certified device check where the market's pack requires one — and placed again on an IP change and at the market's interval while real money is in play.

IP addressorcertified device checkUnited States Placed in US-NJ
  2. 02

    Find the pack

The location is matched to the markets the operator has assigned packs to: the state or province first, then the country, then everywhere else.

US-NJUSeverywhere elseThe state matches first: the New Jersey pack.
  3. 03

    Enforce

The pack decides every seat, waitlist, tournament entry, deposit and withdrawal — refused with the market's own reason — and the lobby lists only what the player may play there.

Real money21+USDSeat, deposit and limits checked against the pack.

Allow-list only

Real money by allow-list only.

A real-money pack is assigned country by country and can never be the default: a country nobody assigned gets play money, and a closed market refuses even play money.

Tested, signed, reviewed

Every rule, tested.
Every pack, signed.

503 scenario tests hold the packs to their rules — a player here, at this verification tier, attempting this, is allowed or refused with this reason: Great Britain 60, Malta 33, New Jersey 28, Curaçao 23, the other US states 22 each and Ontario 23.

01

Signed rule packs

Each market's rules are a rule pack signed with ES256 (ECDSA P-256) over a canonical form; production trusts only the licensor's keys and refuses an unsigned, tampered or invalid pack.

02

Reviewed before real money

In production a pack carries real money only once it is reviewed: counsel's review signed into the pack, or the operator's compliance officer marking it reviewed with a second approver.

Hosting and licences

Run where the law says.
Licensed by you.

Some regulators want the tables inside their borders. And the licence always stays with the operator.

01

Hosted in the jurisdiction

A US state's tables run on servers in that state, and Ontario's in Canada, as their regulators require: a ready deployment per jurisdiction from the same chart, real money only on a deployment hosted there, and a player outside its boundary sent to the right one.

02

Data residency

Each operator is pinned to a region; one that needs in-country hosting gets a dedicated cluster from the same charts.

03

Your licence, our platform

The operating licence stays with the operator; the platform is built to be configured per jurisdiction and to enforce geofencing.
